Manuel Santos is a PhD student focused on developing ultrathin PLMA membranes for osteoregeneration. His academic journey includes a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences (2021) and a Master’s degree in Molecular Biotechnology (2023), both earned from the University of Aveiro.
In 2024, Manuel worked as a research fellow, where he pioneered innovative methods for isolating single cells within liquid compartments using the ATPS (Aqueous Two-Phase System).
Beyond his academic and research pursuits, Manuel is passionate about fitness and the arts. He enjoys regular gym sessions, participates in various dance classes, and cherishes spending quality time with friends.
