“José Pinto obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Biotechnology at the University of Aveiro in 2021 and is the author of a thesis regarding the development of magnetic nanoparticles as contrast agents for disease models’ imaging. He made his first contact with COMPASS RG in November 2021 under the “CICECO Young Scientist” program, during his ongoing Master’s Degree in Molecular Biotechnology and Bioengineering, and is currently working on the development of cell-rich materials for tissue engineering applications.
In his free time, he enjoys playing the trumpet and playing video games with his friends.”
