Margarida completed her bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology in 2022 at the University of Aveiro and is currently doing a master’s degree in Molecular Biotechnology and Bioengineering. In COMPASS group, she is working on her master’s thesis, which focuses on the production and assembly of protein-based microcapsules containing cells, to develop 3D complex structures that mimic the structural hierarchy of a tissue. Outside the lab, she has been a member of University of Aveiro chemistry students association (NEQ-AAUAv), since 2022.
In her free time, Margarida enjoys listening to music, biking, exploring photoshop, and she is also an astronomy enthusiast.
