Inês Alves is a passionate scientist with a strong focus on cancer research and 3D in vitro disease models. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences (2022) and a Master’s degree in Biotechnology (2024), specializing in Molecular Biotechnology and Bioengineering from the University of Aveiro. During her Master’s, she completed an internship at Cellularis Biomodels, a deep-tech startup specializing in 3D in vitro disease models. There, she developed the company’s first non-solid tumor model for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, gaining extensive expertise in cell culture, bioengineering, and independent experimental research. With a strong academic background and hands-on experience, Inês is committed to contributing to innovative advancements in biotechnology.
