Bruna Filipa Rodrigues Ferreira holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Molecular Biotechnology and Bioengineering at the University of Aveiro. As a member of the COMPASS Research Group, she is developing her master’s thesis on the bioprinting of a biomimetic bone marrow disease model. Her research focuses on the application of biomaterials, bioprinting technologies, and tissue engineering strategies to create physiologically relevant in vitro models.
In her free time, Bruna enjoys playing the bass guitar, spending time with her dogs, and spending quality time with family and friends. She is also passionate about volunteering and values teamwork, resilience, and empathy, qualities that she considers essential both inside and outside the laboratory.
