Sara Caetano Silvério earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from the University of Aveiro in 2023 and recently completed her Master’s thesis, “Development of human bioinks for cardiac tissue engineering,” as part of the Master’s program in Molecular Biotechnology and Bioengineering at the same institution. She is currently a PhD student at the COMPASS Research Group, where she continues to develop her work in Digital Light Processing (DLP) 3D bioprinting of human protein-based biomaterials.
In her free time, Sara enjoys traveling, playing board games with friends and family, and discovering new series.
