André Lima obtained his bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, with a bachelor project based on photoinactivation of microorganisms using phthalocyanines derivates, and his master’s degree in Biochemistry with specialization in Clinical Biochemistry, with a master thesis on platelet lysates-based hydrogels as 3D cell culture platforms for cardiac regeneration, at the University of Aveiro. Currently, he is working at the COMPASS research group on platelet lysates-based platforms to improve cardiac regeneration post-myocardial infarction.
In his free time, he likes to practice sports, play videogames and listen to music.”
