Ana Sofia Silva is a BSc and MSc in Biomedical Sciences from University of Beira Interior and a PhD in Bioengineering from NOVA, New University of Lisbon. Her PhD was focused in the development of nano-in- micro dry powder formulations using supercritical assisted CO2 technologies. Currently, Sofia is a post-doc fellow at COMPASS group and her main research interest is in the design and engineering of multifunctional magnetic responsive materials. Outside of the lab Sofia loves spending time with her family and friends, painting, watching TV series and dancing.
