Harischandra Potthuri completed his bachelor’s degree in pharmacy at Shri Vishnu College of Pharmacy, Bhimavaram, India, where he worked on the preparation of Nigella sativa seed oil Bigel. He then pursued his MS Pharm in Biotechnology at the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Hajipur, India, focusing on the evaluation of ampicillin–kanamycin carbon quantum dots for enhanced antibacterial activity against both sensitive and resistant bacterial strains. He joined the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa, as a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions doctoral researcher (TheraTools), where he prepared and evaluated ultrasound-sensitive amorphous TiO₂–PEO–PPO hybrid nanoparticles for glioblastoma treatment. In the final phase of his doctoral studies, he moved to the COMPASS group to evaluate these hybrid nanoparticles in 3D heterocellular glioblastoma models.
Hari likes to utilize his free time in exploring new places, food, cultures and music. He takes joy in physical activities and sports. He gives utmost priority to his family and friends.
