Inês Gabado Henriques completed her Master’s Degree in Biomedical and Biophysics Engineering at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon, where she conducted her research on “The role of human ARHGEF10 in the Peripheral Neuromuscular System” for her thesis project. As of now, she decided to join the COMPASS research group with a research fellowship for the POLINA project, which focuses on the development of cellular materials, particularly “cellgels”, using molecular bioengineering techniques, an endeavor that aligns with her strong interest in tissue engineering and biomedical innovation.
Outside of her research, Inês values a balanced lifestyle that includes reading, sports, and connecting with her friends throughout the week, finding these moments essential for relaxing and recharging her energy.
