Leandro Gonçalves, recently graduated in Biotechnology at the University of Aveiro, is a current master’s student of Industrial and Environmental Biotechnology. During his bachelor, Leandro worked on the biosynthesis of metallic nanoparticles using nanoprecipitation, demystifying their physicochemical properties. Currently, following the same field, integrated in his master’s thesis, he is developing multi-functional colloidal gels for application as bio instructive platforms for vascular tissue engineering. Beyond the lab, Leandro integrates some projects in music and associative areas, is a historic travel lover and enjoys having a good time with friends.
