Luis Henrique Santolin Reichembach is a Brazilian researcher with a PhD carried out in cotutelle between the Federal University of Paraná (Biochemistry) and the University of the Basque Country (Renewable Materials Engineering). His thesis focused on the reuse of waste biomass, the chemical characterization of polysaccharides and the development and characterization of biodegradable films. He is currently a Junior Researcher in the COMPASS group at CICECO, where his research focuses on the chemical modification of natural polymers to develop multifunctional biomaterials.
Outside the lab, he enjoys listening to music, spending time with friends, traveling, and hiking.
