Margarida Domingues holds a BSc (2021) and a MSc (2023) in Biomedical Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico. Her MSc thesis, developed at SCERG-iBB, focused on developing bioprinted spheroid-laden osteosarcoma models using decellularized matrix-based bioinks. After working as a Research Assistant at iBB, she joined the COMPASS research group in late 2025 to pursue a PhD in Biotechnology, in collaboration with Cellularis Biomodels, aiming to develop advanced lung cancer models.
In her free time, she enjoys playing guitar, exploring analog photography, painting, and going for nature walks.
