Mariana Carreira is one of the freshly new master students integrating COMPASS group. She graduated in Biomedical Sciences at University of Aveiro and is currently in her last year of the master’s degree in Biochemistry – Biomolecular Methods. Her master thesis consists in the development of an innovative capsule of hematopoietic stem cells as a biomimetic system for bone marrow regeneration. During free time she goes to gym, watches TV, enjoys time with family and friends, and pets her bunny.
