Mariana graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology in 2022 and is now pursuing her MSc in Molecular Biotechnology and Bioengineering at University of Aveiro. Within the COMPASS research group, she is currently working on her thesis regarding novel colloidal platforms for the delivery of permanent genome editing components and synthetic biology tools for diverse biomedical applications.
In her spare time, she enjoys cinema, music, playing the piano and hanging out with her friends and dogs.
