“Miguel Bilo obtained his bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology in 2021 from the University of Évora, with a final project on antimicrobial prospection of bioactive compounds produced by bacteria isolated from marine environments. He is currently a Biochemistry master’s student in the University of Aveiro, specializing in the Molecular and Bioengineering field. He joined the COMPASS research group to develop his master’s thesis, focusing on the development of bioactive glass as reactive and bioactive fillers for 3D printing applications.
