Tânia Ribas recently graduated in Biotechnology at the University of Aveiro. In her bachelor, she worked on the preparation of Bio-microporous metal compounds with vitamin B3 as a potential transport vehicles of therapeutic NO. Currently she is in her second year of the master’s degree in Molecular and Bioengineering Biotechnology, integrating the Compass group in order to develop her master’s thesis, consisting of the chemical modification of human derived proteins to develop personalized cell culture platforms and bioinks.
In her free time, Tânia likes to read, cook, listen to music, watch tv shows and movies, play the clarinet, travel and play board-games and videogames.
