Bruna Tavares finished her Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering in 2024 at the University of Aveiro. In her final year project, she explored temperature mapping using Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). She is currently in the final year of the Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering and joined COMPASS RG in 2025 to develop her thesis. The work focuses on using a 3D MRI imaging approach to map temperature during cryopreservation of bioprinted structures. In her free time, Bruna enjoys making handmade bracelets and spending time with family and friends.
