Eva Filipa Pereira finished a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Molecular Biotechnology and Bioengineering at the University of Aveiro. Eva joined the COMPASS RG to develop a master’s thesis focused on the bioprinting of vascular fibers for microphysiological tissue models, exploring biomaterials, bioprinting, and tissue engineering approaches to mimic native tissues.
In her free time, Eva enjoys crocheting, reading, baking cookies for her cookie business, and spending time with friends. She is also passionate about volunteering initiatives and values teamwork, resilience, and empathy, qualities she believes are essential both inside and outside the laboratory.
