Ana Filipa Cunha obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon (FCUL) in 2016, followed by a Master’s Degree in Molecular Biomedicine from University of Aveiro. During her master thesis at iBiMED, she focused on the development of immunoassays for in vitro diagnosis of pulmonary diseases. Afterwards, her interest in regenerative medicine and biomaterials made her change the research focus and become a research fellow at Compass group. Currently, she is studying the interaction between microparticles and mesenchymal stem cells for a further application in tissue regeneration. She also enjoys good music, movies and spend time with friends and family.
