Bruno Ladeira completed a BSc program in Biotechnology at University of Aveiro in 2016. In December of 2019, he received a master’s degree in Molecular Biotechnology, with a thesis project focused on the production of liquefied microcapsules and porous microcarriers from photocrosslinkable platelet lysate.
Currently, he is working at COMPASS research group as a research fellow on the development of novel chemistries to prepare “mini-placentas” – liquefied pockets for cell encapsulation produced exclusively from proteins of human origin.
In his free time, he enjoys reading, learning new things and watching series.
