Catarina Custódio graduated in Applied Chemistry at FCT-UNL. In 2013 she received her PhD degree in Tissue Engineering, Regenerative Medicine and Stem Cells from UMinho. During her PhD, she worked in the synthesis of functional materials for biomedical applications to stimulate specific cellular responses. Currently she is an Junior Researcher at COMPASS group. Her research interests include the design and fabrication of soft materials, engineered at the molecular, micro and macro scales for tissue regeneration and disease models. Catarina loves to travel, explore new restaurants and hang out with friends.
