Clara Correia is a post-doctoral research fellow aiming to develop self-regulated microencapsulation systems for tissue regeneration. Graduated in Biomedical Engineering (UMinho), she performed her doctoral thesis at 3B’s Research Group. She developed liquified multilayered capsules containing surface modified microparticles and stem cells, while having the opportunity to work with different biomaterials and processing techniques. She is a classical ballet, jazz dance, skiing and board games lover, but she also can’t say no to a nice table full of friends, good food and Portuguese wine.
