Diogo finished his licenciatura in Biochemistry at University of Aveiro in 2018, followed by his master’s degree in Biomolecular Methods in 2021, also at University of Aveiro. His master’s thesis was on co-encapsulation of human stem cells with microparticles of varying stiffnesses to induce guided cell differentiation for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine. He’s currently further developing this work in a research grant. Likes writing and communicating science.
During his free time, he forces himself to go to the gym, and enjoys playing all sorts of tabletop and video games with his friends.
