Margarida Pereira holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences (2021) and a Master’s degree in Biotechnology (2023) from the University of Aveiro. Her Master’s dissertation focused on the bioengineering of immunocompetent pancreatic tumor models for the screening of candidate immunotherapies. Currently, she is working on the automated biofabrication of physiomimetic lung tumor organoids for nanomedicine screening as a research fellow at the Compass Group and a non-academic institution. In her free time, she practices swimming and enjoys spending time with friends over good food and wine.
