Rita Ferreira has a BSc in Biomedical Sciences and an MSc in Molecular Biomedicine, both from the University of Aveiro (UA). Her master thesis entitled “Metabolic barriers in the transdifferentiation of fibroblasts intoinduced cardiac-like myocytes” was developed at iBiMED, UA. She is currently a Research Fellow at COMPASS, where she will be developing compartmentalized 3D structures for biomedical applications using microfluidics-assisted bioprinting.
In her free time, you can find her with family and friends, reading, sewing or watching TV series.
